A whimsical egg warmer
Easter is just around the corner, there are snowdrops and Crocusses popping up everywhere in the garden and this little pattern just came out of testing. Its a Quick, easy little knitting pattern – just in time for those whimsical easter eggs!
About this Pattern
These Sprouted Egg Cozies are knit in the round in st st, and only take very little time to knit up. They are not overly complicated, customizable and fun to knit. They are simple, yet whimsical and make a great addition to your spring breakfast table.

Pattern Specifications
Finished Dimensions
They measure about 9 cm from top to bottom.
Variations
You can customize your egg cozy by knitting the stalk longer and tying a knot.
Yarn
These egg warmers are knitted with Drops Lima, 50 g/ 100 m (1.8 oz / 109 yards). You can substitute any yarn of similar weight / length.
Needle
US 6 / 4 mm or whatever needle fits your yarn and gauge.
Gauge
21 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm

This does not mean, that you have to know all of these techniques. If you know most of them, see it as an opportunity to learn something new =)
You will need
- 4 DPNs size 4 mm (if you prefer magic loop, a circular needle 4mm).

5 st markers, one of them unique for your beginning of the round.

a needle to weave in the ends.
